One reason you should outsource marketing is to tap into the expertise of others.  One particular type of expertise you should try to get for your business is that of inbound marketing. Inbound marketing is a very effective way of boosting sales.  This works better than traditional marketing because you are naturally attracting the attention of your potential customers and subtly promoting your products and/or services.inbound marketing

Three Major Inbound Marketing Components

Inbound marketing has three key components: content, SEO and social media.  Sure you can try your hand at these, but if you outsource marketing to a firm with expertise in all of these, you will have a marketing strategy that will surely give the results you want.

1. Content

Content is vital to inbound marketing because it is that which draws your audience in.  Content—offered in the form of blog posts, articles, eBooks, white papers and videos—make people interested enough to check out the other things of value you can offer them.  The content offered must be fresh and relevant, otherwise, your customers will turn away before they even get a closer look.

If you want exceptional content that will make your target customers sit up and take notice, turn over the reigns for content creation to an individual or group with the necessary skills and experience.  You may be able to do it, but they would do it much better.

2. SEO

Inbound marketing does not work with quality content alone.  You have to make your content easily accessible, or at least easier to find online.  With so many businesses in the World Wide Web, you need to make yours stand out and easy to locate through organic search.  You do this through SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Some businesses do SEO on their own, but the task is too complicated and challenging for most people.  SEO involves keyword research and analysis, which will enable you to determine which keywords potential customers search for when it comes to your niche.  Only when you know which keywords will lead people to your business can you create content.  This is because in order for you to be found through search engines, you need to produce content using these keywords.

It is best for you to delegate this task to those who understand the SEO process completely and whose efforts in previous projects have generated income for a business.

3. Social Media

Inbound marketing requires social media to share the optimized content created.  This type of marketing may not force your company to seek customers, but this does not mean you will not exert any effort to reach out to them.  Make use of all available social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc) to help others with information and resources your business can offer.

However, just because you know how to use the aforementioned sites does not mean you can already carry out the job yourself.  Outsource marketing to those who can fully take advantage of what social media has to offer and let them increase awareness for your brand.
