Candyland

Welcome to Candyland! The candy makes the world go round this Christmas for Prime Outsourcing and Vidalia Lending Corp. employees! The holiday season was felt in the form of lollipops, chocolates, jellies, and everything sweet and sour on the 6th floor of Aster Business Center on the 16th of December 2022.

As led by Miss Mailyne Buslig and Chrisgera Librea from the HR Department, the program started at 11:00 AM with a prayer expressing gratitude that this event was possible. It was followed by welcoming remarks from our CEO, Eusebio Malupa, also known as Sir Bong.

With rays of sunshine and rainbows, the employees showcased their inner candy heart side by wearing colorful outfits representing their glacé side. The unicorn’s rainbow bursts into bright colors as each employee shows off their Candyland theme attire.

Candyland: Prime and Vidalia Got Talent

A crashing wave of chocolate syrup follows it as Prime and Vidalia Got Talent start right away! There were two groups formed with 10 members each.

The first group showcases their talent and holds a big handmade shimmering lollipop as they create a mini pageant show with witty introductions. They also dance and sing a carol to the judges, asking for a pamasko

The next group was carnival candy-themed, which started with a human puppet show. They followed their performance with a singing portion showcasing their melodic singing voice. They also had a dance performance for girls and boys while singing, highlighting how stable their voices were while moving.

Candyland: Hearts and Tummies full

After the performances, employees ate delicious food from St. Nicholas Catering and Restaurant.

Employees were so happy with the food, making their tummies full and their hearts with euphoria as they ate the meal while conversing with their co-workers.

Candyland: Sweet Kisses with Games and Raffle

Of course, the fun doesn’t stop there! We went cherry popping as the games, appliances, cash raffles, and awarding began.

Competitiveness goes right away with different games like building tower cups, grabbing the ball game, transferring M&M candy using a straw, a race to consume rainbow sour candy belts without using their hands, guessing the thing while blindfolded, and balloon transfer. The venue was filled with laughter while playing.

Meanwhile, it feels like it was seventh heaven for employees who won appliances and cash through a raffle, but of course, everyone went home with money in their pockets with the cup raffle with all of the numbers having a corresponding cash prize.

Candyland: Thoughtful Exchange of Gifts

In Candyland, it is not only the sweetness we enjoy but each one’s thoughtfulness. Pouring with Skittles and Love, the exchange gift started by having each employee describe the usefulness of the gift they got for their monito and monita.

Candyland: Awarding

Right then, the most awaited part of the program comes – the awarding. Sir Barry Hawkins, Sir Richard Abella, and Miss Peggy Jacinto received loyalty awards for decades of working with the company. For Best in Attendance, Miss Ruth Crisol was awarded.

The ice cream melted, and the doughnuts go rolling as the best in costume and performance was announced. Sir Bong chose Miss Ruth Crisol for the best costume for girls, which is unquestionable with her purple dress, improvised candy hairband made of sprinkles, glasses and lipstick, and ice cream hand prop, she is surely the winner.

Sir Ryan Pelayo dressed as Ube popsicle for boys, with a suspender and ribbon tie in his polo.

For the best performance, the puppet show with singing and dancing won. This group consists of Miss Ruth Crisol, Miss Leanne Danielle Marquez, Miss Jewel Escote, Miss Veronica Louis Gannaban, Miss Marielle Aquino, Sir Barry Hawkins, Sir Jeric Logan, Sir Rey Codera, Sir Richard Abella, and Sir James Santos.

Candyland: Ending with fireworks of rainbow gummies

Before the program ends, employees are given corporate gifts. Christmas Catalog and Ham for regular employees, and ham for probationary employees. The program ended with Sir Dave Malupa’s closing remarks about encouragement and wish for a prosperous new year for the company. Even though the program ended, they continued with karaoke for employees.

It’s indeed a Candyland poured with cotton candies and kisses of blissfulness, may holidays be filled with genuine happiness for all of us.
