When Midnights became their Afternoon
Halloween parties are usually at night but with Prime with the sun in its brightest light, the creepiness started. The office underwent a magical transformation with pumpkin lanterns, spider webs made out of paper, and eerie sounds casting haunting heebie-jeebies across the room. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation as employees arrived, dressed to impress in their Halloween best.
Creativity knew no bounds as Prime and Vidalia employees embraced the Halloween spirit with gusto. From classic monsters to imaginative and humorous ensembles and famous movie characters, the variety of costumes was astonishing. Colleagues admired each other’s creativity, valuing the time and work that went into each outfit.
It became the first highlight of the program where employees paraded their costumes on a makeshift catwalk. The crowd cheered and applauded as participants strutted their stuff, showing off their creativity and confidence. The judges had a tough time deciding the winners, given the sheer brilliance of the costumes on display.
Let the Games Begin, Are you Ready for it?
The afternoon was filled with spine-tingling games that brought out the competitive spirit in everyone. Starting from the Charades-Halloween edition where employees brought out their guessing skills of different horror movies.
This is followed by Trick or Treats where employees will pick out a number and each digit corresponds to a drink that they do not know what’s inside. The one who drank the water wins which is a ‘treat’ while the others sip into ‘trick’ drinks which contain different condiments.
Then next is the office feud where two groups team up to answer each category mentioned, the creeps get so real when it is followed by Dracula’s Tomb or what is famously known as What’s in the Box where 7 players compete against each other to whom is the fastest and who got the right answer of guessing the item they are touching inside the box.
Last but not least is the Scavenger hunt with a twist where two teams looked for colored pumpkins and answered the riddles on it, the faster and most with the correct answers win.
Lay the table with the fancy Meal
No Halloween party is complete without delicious treats and eerie melodies. PrimeOutsourcing did not disappoint in this regard. The tables were laden with spooky sweet snacks. Along with fish fillet, chicken cordon bleu, spaghetti, palabok, barbecue, and pichi-pichi.
The dessert table featured a caramel cake, with an ‘Happy Halloween’ topper which served as the centerpiece of the afternoon.
In addition to the delectable treats, haunting harmonies filled the air as there was music streaming. Employees swayed and danced to the tunes, enjoying the musical ambiance that added to the overall festive atmosphere.
Nightmare Dressed Like a Daydream
In the shadowy ambiance of Prime and Vidalia’s Halloween bash, the winners of the costume contest emerged like characters from a fantastical tale.
Nica, a content writer with the enigmatic Black Swan gracefully danced her way into the spotlight, her ebony feathers mirroring the elegance of Natalie Portman’s character. Beside her, is Leanne, Marketing Assistant, the ethereal White Swan who glided with otherworldly grace, embodying the delicate contrast.
Joseph, the graphic designer, sent shivers down spines with his meticulously crafted Jigsaw Man ensemble, every detail perfectly mimicking the eerie character from the horror franchise.
And there was Princess, the spirited Marketing Support, who stole the afternoon, dashing her way to the top as a fierce and charming pirate, captivating the crowd with her adventurous spirit.
Yet, the applause didn’t end there. Barry, the web developer, brought the fields to life as a charming scarecrow, his presence evoking memories of autumn harvests and golden cornfields. Meanwhile, Ishang, marketing support, donned the terrifying features of Valak from “The Nun,” her portrayal sending shivers through the audience. As the tie was proclaimed, the roar of appreciation was loud, recognizing their immense effect on the fascinated viewers.
Each costume, a work of art in its own right, wove a tapestry of imagination, skill, and Halloween enchantment, leaving a lasting impression on the afternoon’s festivities.
